About this watch

This very early example of the famous Seamaster 300 is in quite outstanding condition . The Seamaster 300 2913 was introduced in 1957 and this example from c 1958 features the original and very scarce reverse graduated scale on the bezel which was only in use for very early production run before being replaced for the direct graduated bezel shortly after in 1959.

The original radium dial has aged perfectly and has achieved a deep mustard colour which is complemented in the original hands with arrowhead minute hand and the unmistakable “lollipop” centre seconds hand all displayed under the domed crystal, designed to withstand the highest pressures experienced by divers at the time.

The watch runs on the cal 501 manual winding movement which correctly dates the watch to 1958.

The watch comes complete with the scarcely seen correct naiad crown

To finish this fantastic example of a world-famous watch is the original Omega 7077 bracelet date stamped 3/60

This is a stunning 65-year-old professional dive watch worthy of a place in the most serious collections.
