Omega Flightmaster 2nd Generation

Needing very little introduction to most collectors The flight master range from Omega carried on the companies tradition of designing and building Utility watches aimed directly at a profession in this case commercial pilots .One Omega advert from the period actually states " we made a watch for the man up front in a Boeing"This watch was designed to allow the wearer to view the time in two separate zones instantly.

The second generation offers the improved cal 911 hand wound chronograph movement which is recognized easily as it  moves the seconds dial to 9 o'clock position and also by the improved anti reflective and anti abrasive flat tempered mineral crystal.

I am delighted to offer this completely original piece from circa 1971 hewn out of one solid block of stainless steel these iconic watches have great wrist presence and this original watch appears never to have been polished and all pushers hands ect are original and functioning correctly

And now just back from a complete service by vintage Omega expert Simon Freese so guaranteed until Aug 2019
