From one of Switzerland's finest watchmakers and this example from the 1970's demonstrates why ,Both the case and integral fine bracelet are solid 18 ct white gold and show very little wear .
The Eclipse style of the 1970's is very reminiscent of the Patek Phillipe of the same name .
The case measure 32mm exc crown although to be honest I measured it 3 times as it feels larger on the wrist
This style of watch usually runs on a mechanical movement as in this case as it allows a much slimmer case which is the requirement of a dress watch of this caliber.
A real gem and I doubt the new owner will ever meet someone wearing the same piece
