This is an exceptional Rolex submariner ref 16800 featuring not only the very highly prized Matt dial but also an absolutely stand out stainless steel case which is so crisp and sharp I don’t think it has ever been polished.
I only wish my photography could show just how special this watch is, the original and very rare Matt dial and tritium indices looks amazing in natural light
Manufactured in 1987 as confirmed by the serial R 496XXX, an interesting point to some collectors is that R was the first-year alphanumerical serials were introduced.
The Bracelet on this piece is in the same outstanding condition as the rest or the watch.
