About this watch

I am amazed at the value proposition this watch presents, if you really study this model it has so much attention to detail its easily overlooked, gone is the “normal date window seen on other Calatrava models ,instead you have the date highlighted by the super slim date hand with simple red arrow head indicating the day of the month  ,The hours and date are both printed in Arabic numerals and perfectly balanced ,The finish of the dial again deserves closer inspection and rewards the interested with ribbed textures and radial patterns running on the sub second dial and inner track.

The 39mm case is solid 18ct white gold and has a super slim thickness of only 8.86mm perfect to slide under a cuff. The sapphire glass back of the case has allows viewing of the superb automatic cal 240 movement with the solid gold rotor which is decorated with Cotes-de-Geneve striping and hand engraved with the Calatrava cross.

As mentioned previously the watch runs on the super thin Patek Phillipe caliber 240 automatic which was first released in 1977 and the 6006G was launched as a celebration of the caliber’s 40th anniversary in Basel world 2017, The movement is as you expect a work of art and of the highest quality.
