About this watch

This is one of the rarer executions of the famous ‘moonwatch’, the 145.012-67, it was the first of the now famous case design, which differed from the first Speedmaster by the addition of pusher and crown guards. This particular example dates from Circa 1968 and was released alongside the famous ‘Ed White’ Speedmaster, ultimately this models popularity saw it and later models replacing the ‘Ed White’

This example is simply stunning, the original applied logo stepped dial is superb with gorgeous luminous material and has a remarkable patina. The movement is Omega’s famous 321 movement, correct and original to the watch and in perfect original condition. The watch benefits from the original Dot Over Ninety bezel, which is in superb original condition and the case is super sharp and very clean,

Its worth noting that a DON bezel in this condition would sell easily for in excess of £1500 which is why so many watches have had them removed and its why this is such a great value piece.
