About this watch

The reference 166 088 was introduced in 1969 ,and this early example is in great shape.

I must be honest and although I know that this watch has a Matt Black dial under differing light conditions I swear they look dark blue ,may be it's due to the blue second hand and Blue Bakelite bezel playing tricks with my eyes  !

Any way Black or Blue this is a great and affordable vintage Omega dive watch! The cal 1002 automatic movement works as it should and keeps great time and the 38 mm stainless steel case wears nicely and benefits form the original stainless steel bracelet. 

This watch shows normal vintage wear but I would prefer this than have a watch that has lost is case definition through over polishing.
