About this watch
I have said many times what a great watch I think these are ,particularly the driver version which at the time was aimed at a younger customer than Omega normally attracted and the combination of highly accurate cal 865 movement with the unusual dial layout which was designed to be worn on the inside of the wrist so that when racing at high speed a driver could check his times without the need to let go of the steering wheel proved a great success.
The movement number dates this stunning piece to circa 1968 which was also the first year the watch was produced.
The solid stainless steel 35 mm case houses the 17 jewel 865 cal. movement under the original armoured hesalite glass c/w Omega logo in glass.
Omegas reference No 145.010 this a great watch and a sure-fire talking point and comes complete with the original Omega mesh bracelet and clasp.
