About this watch

Possibly one of the most famous of all Omega chronographs the manual winding caliber 33.3 was developed by Lemania in 1933 (hence the name) and was a technical marvel and is still revered by collectors today. It’s also very scarce as only around 13,000 were ever produced

The 33.3 chronographs were far larger than most other chronographs of the day measuring 37,5 mm this was one factor that helped it become a favourite of many military forces as well as explorers of the day.

The three-piece stainless-steel case is in great condition with well-defined crisp edges to the lugs.

The original dial is a two-register chronograph, with sub-dials featuring 30-minute counter at three o'clock and running seconds at nine o'clock. The silver dial has aged wonderfully and is completely unrestored.

If you are looking for a vintage chronograph which carries amazing wrist presence, then look no further this example is fitted to an Italian Crocodile skin strap which compliments it very well.
