Omega Seamaster 343 RG Chronometre SOLD

This Omega 2576-4 Seamaster Chronometre dates to 1948 and is presented in a 34 mm solid stainless steel case (a rare option at the time for this model).

This is the automatic winding  caliber 343RG Chronometre, the ultimate Omega movement of the day and revered to this day for its quality and accuracy. The RG Chronometre range was Omega ultimate movement and produced in small numbers, it differed from other watches because of firstly the build quality and second the micro regulator, allowing tiny adjustments for accuracy.

The Seamaster brand is still in production today and still regarded as Omega most famous production model alongside the Speedmaster. This example is very original ,The dial  never restored and although shows some signs of age this only adds to the honesty of the piece
