This stunning 36 mm (excluding crown) is a rare all stainless steel watch proof chronograph dating from the late 1940’s/ early 1950’s. These Bovet cased watches are not to be confused with other chronographs of the period, they are of the highest quality.
This example is all original and in stunning condition, the case is superb and unrestored and hasn’t been refinished, it has ‘Spillman’ style lugs and wears extremely well. The watch is complimented by its original Venus 170 movement, which has been fully overhauled. The watch also benefits from its original and stunning two tone black and kharki green dial, which is in simply beautiful condition. The original radium markers do not have a residual glow by respond well to ultra violet light and have been tested with a Geiger counter.
