About this watch

Hard to believe this great piece originated at the end of the 2nd world war c 1945

The 33 mm stainless steel case is in remarkable condition. This watch still features a closing system for the case, which was patented by Omega, in which a steel ring locks the case from the outside. This system was used because the screw back was patented by Rolex at the time and Omega was looking for alternatives for guaranteeing the water resistance of their watches

The early cal 28.10 movement has just been serviced by Omega expert Simon Freese so will give many more years of trouble free use

The watch has a wonderful silvered Dial with subsecond dial

A great truly vintage time piece offering modern reliability
