About this watch
Cressi are one of the world’s oldest and most respected independent dive suppliers and are proud to remain family owned even today and as demand from diving enthusiasts increased for quality waterproof diving watches through the 1960’,70’s and 80’s Cressi commissioned some to retail under their own brand name although it is this model the Cressi Sub U.D.T that remains on the most wanted list for many dive watch fans ,The initial U.D.T are used by the underwater demolition team ,that was later to become the navy seals although why Cressi badged these pieces this way remains a mystery they are certainly an eye catching piece
The dial is the most striking part of the watch being a gloss back with large lume filled hour markers with Arabic ¼’sthe Cressi logo stands out in the yellow triangle with the rest of the dial finished with white lettering. In certain light conditions you can see that the lacquer has cracked to give the desirable cracked ice appearance and adds to the watches unique charm.
The 36mm stainless steel case extends to 39mm including crown guards and comes presented on a rubber tropic strap.
The watch runs on an automatic Swiss made movement which is covered by our 12-month guarantee.
