About this watch

I am not sure this watch will grace the Henley regatta any time soon but if you’re looking for an ultra-cool statement piece from the seventies then look no further.

This is big 45mm and striking, the blue and white dial with orange chronograph hand and highlight hard to miss but your eyes will also be drawn to the cutaway segment between 12 and 4 which is the regatta countdown starting with 10 down to 6 in yellow then progressing with 5 down to 1 in red and then the letters forming the word start are shown in green on a white background.

This early example of the Memosail regatta chronograph comes from c1973 and features the MK1 dial and still comes fitted to its original blue rubber/silicone branded Memosail strap
