This remarkably preserved Omega 2520 Seamaster Chronometre dates to circa 1953 in solid 14K gold case, the Seamaster Chronometre series of watches were Omegas flagship timepieces alongside the constellation models, boasting their automatic chronometer movements, this variety is caliber 352 RG Chronometre, their ultimate movement of the day and revered to this day for its quality and accuracy. the Seamaster brand is still in production today and still regarded as Omega most famous production model alongside the Speedmaster.

This example is special for a number of reasons, it is never restored and never polished, the movement is in near pristine condition showing virtually no signs of wear and this reflects in the case and dial and in fact the whole watch.

The dial is the standout item on the watch, unlike so many it is never restored and retains its flawless factory finish.

The watch is 100% original and 100% un touched and un molested, there are some wear marks on the case but this only adds to the watches appeal and originality. The watch has just been fully serviced by vintage Omega expert Simon Freese and so is backed by his 18 months guarantee

This is a very very rare opportunity to buy a museum quality Omega Seamaster Chronometre running one of their most famous movements.
