2848 SC in remarkable condition having been fully restored at Omega in the UK. The dial has been restored by Omega, although the original was stunning it was so heavily patina’d that it disintegrated when cleaned. The dial restoration is to the highest standard and compliments the watch extremely well.
The watch has been refinished by Omega and as such is to the very best quality, it had never been previously touched so there is no loss of profile on the case and no loss of gold, it is stunning. The clip on case back bears the relevant Omega markings.
The case is solid gold 18 K gold, it is a substantial watch and has a great weight to it, they really knew how to make gold watches back in the day.
The caliber 501 movement is in excellent condition, the watch is 34 mm excluding crown and it has an amazing wrist presence. It is complimented with a period Omega Alligator band and period Omega buckle, what more can you ask for? This is the ultimate combination of vintage cool with modern reliability and wear ability.
