This piece is exceptional in more than one way .

In exceptional condition throughout including the original signed enamelled dial  the hallmarked and signed twin hinged solid gold case dated to 1916 and the beautifully decorated and signed Rolex 15 jewel movement .

These features alone guarantee this piece to be highly prized but the rarity on top of this is the sweeping second hand on such an early piece .
