The famous collectable dirty dozen needs little introduction on this site but to briefly recap in the 1940’s the British MOD selected 12 Swiss manufacturers to produce a time piece for the armed forces all had to use the same dial layout but various case sizes and materials are found .The 12 became known by collectors as the dirty dozen and Timor were one of those chosen manufacturers.WWW being the specification required by the MOD ,Wrist Watch Waterproof.
The 35 mm steel plated case is in great condition as is the rest of this excellent timepiece .
The manual winding caliber 6060 movement has just been fully serviced by vintage military watch expert John Senior and whilst being serviced John sympathetically carried out a relume to match the dial pots and hands and comes working perfectly giving you the opportunity to wear a piece of British history with modern performance and reliability .
