Winegartens were a like Asprey a London Jeweler who would buy  quality Swiss movements ,in this case the eta 2391 manual wind 17 jewel model and then have an English case maker Dennision make a solid gold case to house the movement in to then retail quality watches under there own brand a practice seeing a renaissance today with some new companies and still practiced by some surprisingly large brands .

This presentation watch carries a very nice anniversary message  which I like to see remain unpolished out as its part of the watches history.

The gold case is 34 mm and like the movement and dial is completely original and wears very nicely
