Following in the steps of the superb 5513 is no easy task but that’s exactly what the 14060 had to do when it was introduced in the late 1980’s, with it came the introduction of the sapphire glass and the new and improved cal 3000 movement along with an improved depth rating of 300 meters, The example I have today was manufactured in 1995 and is presented in excellent condition.
The 40mm stainless steel case is in superb condition, inner case back correctly stamped 14060 and comes with the correct full size Rolex oyster bracelet ref 93150 date stamped T8 confirming a date of 1995.
The Submariner 14060 is referred by many collectors as the last true Submariner and examples with the Tritium dial which ended production around 1997 are very highly prized as the tritium will continue to develop uniquely as the watch ages.
The cal 3000 automatic movement runs perfectly and carries our 12 months guarantee.
It is getting increasingly hard to find good value no date Submariners so I doubt I will have this piece for very long so please be quick.
