About this watch

Although famous for its association with aircraft pilots in particular the Aircraft owners and pilots association (AOPA) as demonstrated with the logo on early Navitimers, the Navitimer was also a firm favourite of Formula 1 racing drivers including Graham hill and James Clark

This example from C1970 is in great condition, the reverse panda dial features the twin jet logo and is correctly signed Brietling Geneve, it also features the later dial with enlarged sub dials which was introduced in 1968, these larger subdials were intended to make the dial easier to read and have been fondly termed “big eyes” by collectors of these superb vintage pieces.

The 41 mm stainless steel case has retained its crisp lines as has the milled edge bezel.

The Venus 178 manual winding chronograph Movement performs as it should and is covered by our 12-month guarantee.

This is a great example completely original of a famous vintage time piece that wears exceptionally well now.
