IWC are one of the most respected Swiss watch makers and arguably at the time this watch was made in the early 1960's they were in their heyday, the automatic cal 853 movement is very highly regarded, and this example works perfectly as it has just been serviced and as with all our pieces is guaranteed for 12 months.
The 35mm stainless steel case is in showroom condition and is fitted to a quality new brown leather strap which works very well with the silvered dial which is decorated simply with baton hour markers
IWC’s automatic movement was designed by Albert Pellaton which is still in use today.
These IWC pieces from the sixties just ooze style with a quality reminiscent of the Patek Calatrava’s of the period.
