About this watch

The Famous deign of the Reverso was first seen in 1931 and was a unique answer for the polo community giving them a durable watch to wear in the very demanding arena of Polo matches.

This remarkable early example still has the original cream dial with radium hour markers and hands although missing lume in some places the dial has been left unrestored which only adds to the charm and character of this amazing piece

The early acier staybrite (stainless steel) case measure 38mm x 23mm and is in remarkable  condition for a watch of this age and still rotates freely as intended although I have to confess I am unlikely to wear it to  polo match any time soon.

The watch is presented in a wonderful early Le Coultre wooden display box and I believe is still fitted to the original leather strap

This is a piece worthy of a place in any serious collection and sure to admired when worn as its should be .

The case remains unpolished and so shows some signs of wear as to be expected
