About this watch

I have a confession, my photographer and I don’t always see eye to eye on the pieces I enthuse about, but I challenge anyone not to be impressed by the beauty and elegance of this Automatic Omega, then appreciate that the watch dates to 1958 when it was surely among  the best looking watches available.

Take a moment to admire the black gloss dial with gilt cross hair detail and minute markers, simply finished with gold hour markers and hands, I can easily forgive the slight blemishes on the dial which are only visible in certain light conditions and in no way detract from the enjoyment of this watch.

The case is an equal to dial being of the highest quality and manufactured in England by the world-famous Denison factory.

in the late 1950’s the owner of this watch was looking for the very best timepiece he could buy, and I think he found it.

The solid 35mm 9ct gold case is finished with lovely downturned lugs which give the watch nice presence on the wrist.

The cal 501 automatic movement runs perfectly and is covered by our 12-month guarantee.

The watch is fitted to a later black leather Omega strap and finished with a gold-plated Omega buckle.

This is possibly the nicest Omega dress watch at under £2000 I think you will find, and I think you can tell I love it.

The watch will be delivered in our own secure packaging along with certificate of authenticity and instruction booklet as shown
