Omega 145.016 ‘Soccer Timer’ Chronograph SOLD

The Omega ‘Soccer Timer’ is one of the rarest Omega Chronographs there is, they were produced for a very short time during the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. These where striking pieces, using the same movement as the famous Omega ‘Moon watch’, the calibre 861.

The watches where so striking due to the stunning multi colour dial, they are really eye catching. The watch was produced in two colour combinations, one on a white back drop and much rarer the black background. So many examples out there have been used and abused, this example is close to new old stock condition, the case is perfect and never refinished, the dial is flawless, and the movement is pristine. The watch even comes with the original and correctly stamped hangtag.

The solid stainless steel case measure 38 mm excluding the crown and pushers, it wears extremely well, it is presented on the original rally band with Omega buckle.

This is such a stunning watch, the watch in itself is something extremely special but to find one in virtually unworn condition with tags is simply impossible, a great opportunity and a wonderful investment you can wear every day.
