Omega’s first digital watches the time computers were produced in collaboration with a company called Pulsar for these later watches Omega used a company called frontier to produce the electronic modules whilst Omega worked on the design and construction of cases and the branding.
This piece is a great example of the 1603 finished with a 14k gold filled case fitted onto a JB Champion 10k gold filled bracelet. Champion bracelets were made for Omega in the USA and are very highly regarded. This is a full-size bracelet which will easily fit up to a 7¾ inch wrist.
The case and bracelet show normal light wear as you would expect from a watch from the mid 1970’s
The watch has just been tested and had new batteries fitted by Simon Freese the UK vintage Omega specialist and all performs as it should
