This is a lovely example of a classic gents dress watch from 1960, The solid gold case has delicate downturned lugs and the silver dial is simply decorated with gold baton markers and numeral quarters ,the clean look is further complemented by the sweeping second hand
Manual winding cal 600 movement with correct serial numbers dating this piece to 1960 making this a great option for a special 60th birthday gift.
The 33mm solid 9ct gold was manufactured by English case makers Shackeltons which was common practice for Omega and Rolex amongst others as import duties on precious metal cases was very expensive until the mid-seventies.
This lovely piece is fitted to a black leather strap and finished with an Omega gold coloured buckle
