I have said many times what a great watch I think these are and finding a piece like this in such a complete set always makes me smile
The movement number dates this stunning piece to circa 1968 which was also the first year the watch was produced .The watch was aimed at the young drivers of the sixties and won awards for its design and functionality ,designed to be worn under the wrist with the 12 found in the position of the more common 3 which allows much easier reading of the time whilst your hand is on the steering wheel or gear stick
The solid stainless steel 35 mm case houses the 17 jewel 865 cal. movement under the original armoured hesalite glass c/w Omega logo in glass.
This collector’s set comes complete with the original Omega stainless steel mesh bracelet and all Omega papers including Chronostop driver booklet
