The reference 168.025 is possibly one of the most overlooked of the constellation line up and that is in part because it had only a short production from 1968 until 1970 and is so seldom seen and even less so in solid 18ct gold as we have here, The reference 168.025 was introduced in 1968 and among the upgrades were the tremendous cal 564 movement with quick set date and the completely new monocoque case which gave this unmistakable dress watch significant water proof capabilities as well due to the absence of any removable case back.
I am delighted to be able to offer you an opportunity to purchase the hardest find variant of all the monocoque Constellations, the Gold tuxedo pie pan , The watch is completely original and unpolished retaining crisp case definition and a perfect observatory medallion case back.
The 34.5mm case size is very wearable and due to the case style, it has a thin profile of under 11mm so sits nicely under a cuff, we have fitted this to a new black leather strap which works very well with the dial configuration.
