18 ct solid Rose Gold no 975 of only 999 made to celebrate George Daniels fantastic achievement of inventing the Co Axial movement .
These very limited edition pieces were only ever made in white gold ,yellow gold and as this one in 18ct Rose gold ,I am fortunate to have also owned a yellow gold piece and although nice this is on another level altogether I think its the combination of the rose gold and the deep blue almost black pie pan dial which in turn sets off the Rose gold applied Roman numerals and baton markers .
As a piece from 1999 it also has a classic vintage look but in a modern 39 mm case ,bear in mind this was made before every watch in the world made seems to be a rehash of an old classic ,which begs the question why dont people just buy a vintage watch in the first place !
Any way thats a much bigger debate than I have time for here !
Some of you may know that although hugely successful on launch the coaxial movement did have issues and as a result this piece underwent a full factory recall in 2012 all presented in this meticulous documentation ,so I am pleased to report that this piece is presented to you without fault and in immaculate condition .
