Purchased new in the UK in August 2020, the watch was sadly an unwanted gift and as such is virtually unworn, I cant say completely unworn as it has found its way onto my wrist on more than one occasion.
Its pieces like this that make me realise that Omega remain an underrated company ,I would argue that this watch offers far more than almost anything in the equivalent Rolex product range and yet people blindly follow the herd rather than consider something different .To be honest I am pleased that’s the reality as it allows some of us to acquire really outstanding watches at very realistic prices ,even at its £10,200 list price I still believe this to better value than its competitors but at our asking price it’s a hell of a lot of watch for the money.
The watch is a new version of the classic Seamaster 300 introduced in 1957 and the nod to the past is perfectly executed but then the addition of the Matt sandblasted dial with Sedna(rose ) gold hands and vintage looking luminova takes it to another level. The Bakelite bezel form the original 300 is replaced with an ultra-modern Ceragold masterpiece. In case you hadn’t already guessed I love this watch!
The 41mm stainless steel case is presented on a steel and 18ct gold bracelet which wears really well. The case features a crystal case back so you can view the Master Co-Axial calibre 8400 movement in all its glory
The watch comes supplied in its original box with cards and is covered by the 5-year manufacturers guarantee
