I am always delighted to be able to offer truly exceptional timepieces and this Ed White ranks among the nicest example of this reference I have seen for a long time. The watch is completely original and looks to have been worn very little.
The watch comes fitted to the rarest bracelet, reference 1035 1501 which is very desirable on its own having only been manufactured for a short time at the end of 1966, the rare bracelet is fitted to the correct number 6 end links, this bracelet with correct end links is incredibly hard to source. Currently the bracelet is sized tit a 19cm wrist, but I can add extra fixed links if required as at some point in the past two stretch links have been removed.
The manual winding cal 321 movement performs exactly as it should and the serial number is in the 24mm range which is correct and dates this piece to c 1966
The case for this exceptional Ed White remains crisp and sharp and I don’t believe it’s ever been polished.
The dial is original and untouched, and those with a keen eye will have spotted that its starting to develop those desirable chocolate or "tropical " tones
The original dot over ninety bezel is in fantastic condition and I am pleased to see its been left on the watch rather than sold separately for around £3000 as many sadly have.
Superb, unmolested Ed Whites are very few and far between and I can’t praise this piece enough.
