This untouched 145.012-67 is one of the early reference’s of this iconic watch, it is one of the first ‘moon watch’ models manufactured, the case reference is 145.012-67 with matching serial number correct to the watch and completely original and was delivered in 1968 serial is 2495 XXXX and shows within the first batch of 145.012-67 according to Speedmaster 101 which started at 2406 XXXX and ran to 27XX XXXX
The watch is in super and original condition, the case has never been touched and is the best I’ve seen, retaining all of its beveled edges and never having been refinished. The dial is tremendous with gorgeous and most importantly original, the luminous material and a stunning honey patina, it genuinely is the best dial I’ve ever seen. The watch comes its original bracelet, which is pretty much full size and stretch free 1039 2/67 bracelet
The watch came from the first owner and has been sat in a drawer since 1971, lots of people selling speedmaster claim this type of ‘barn find’ story, in this case it is 100% true. The lack of use reflects in the condition of the watch, it is outstanding. Along with the original movement, dial and hands, the watch benefits from the original Dot Over Ninety bezel again in stunning condition with only a few tiny marks, original crystal and original pushers and crown, this is one of the nicest Speedmasters I have seen in a long time.
The watch is running as it should and working correctly, keeping good time and the chronograph is resetting and zeroing, It has not been polished (ever).
