About this watch

Please pause for a moment and consider that this time piece was produced with the sole purpose of assisting man’s quest for space exploration!

After 5 years of development and testing which are far too extensive for me to list here and I guess no one reading this will ever put this watch through its paces! The watch was developed specifically for and at the request of NASA as the next generation of Space watch, so successful was it that it was instantly adopted by NASA and numerous air forces around the world.

The watch was developed with an array of functions accessed through the use of the four pushers ,5 if you include the crown which also acts as a pusher as a pilot in a space suit would be wearing thick gloves so unable to use a winding crown.
Functions include
Programable 80 decibel alarm
Time display
Perpetual calender
Mission timer/Countdown timer
Chronograph
GMT Function
8Lux display light

This fully functioning example for 1998 has recently been serviced by the Omega service centre at a cost of £1,000 and carries a full 2-year Omega warranty.
