This very rare Rolex GMT master from 1963 features the original and very desirable gilt chapter ring Swiss only dial, these dials were only used for a short period until 1964 and on this example the dial has aged to a unique tropical pattern.
The 40 mm stainless steel case has the pointed crown guards and is in extremely good condition and shows no signs of over polishing, the “El Cornino” crown guards being very well defined. The fat font Pepsi bezel has faded with age and shows signs of wear as you would expect.
The GMT is highly collectable and we are pleased to be able to offer a rare original example such as this.
