GMT Master 1675 Pepsi Long E Mk1 Matt Dial

The 1675 GMT Master is a classic watch and quite rightly features in most serious Rolex collections

The example we have here features the MK1 matt dial ,distinguished by the long centre stroke on the letter E in the word  Rolex, these dials where only produced for a short period of time and appear in watches dating from c 1968 through to the early 1970’s .The serial number 2944XXX is among the very last to be used with the long E dial and also confirms the manufacturing date to 1972 ,As the watch dates to 1972 it would make the perfect birthday gift for anyone celebrating there 50^th birthday in 2022

The tritium hour markers have aged to a lovely warm coffee colour and the original Pepsi bezel has also faded in the most desirable way and matches the dial superbly

The watch comes fitted to its original Rolex 7836 oyster bracelet.
