About this watch
The Air king model can trace its history back to the 1930’s although first watch badged air king was seen in 1945 which makes it the longest serving model in the brands line up and although its had many variation s during this time its perhaps the introduction of the 116900 at Basel world 2016 with its striking 40mm case size but whatever the changes the watch has always been unmistakably an air king with even the font remaining the same since the 1950’s
This particular example was supplied in the UK in October 2021 and is among the last produced of this extremely popular model and is still covered by the balance of the Rolex 5 year guarantee.
The watch shows little sign of ever being worn and represents an excellent opportunity to own a stunning sports Rolex at a very affordable price
