Helvetia Solid gold vintage dress watch

From c1949 this beautiful Classic Vintage Gents Helvetia 9K Solid Gold Deco Style watch is in stunning condition. The 9k solid gold stepped case measures approx. 31mm dia. excluding the crown and features decorative  fluted lugs and 9K gold snap on case back. The inside case back is fully hallmarked [.375] for 9k gold and the casemakers name N.K. for N. K. Watch Case Manufacturing Co., London - mentioned exhibitor in 1947 British Industries Fair London].

The classic silver dial has gold hour numerals, black minute markers with subdivisions, gold hands and gold centre sweep seconds hand. The dial is signed, Helvetia Swiss Made.

The Helvetia 17 Jewel Cal. 800D Hand Winding Movement is in good working order,. The movement is signed, Helvetia Watch Co., Swiss Made, 800D.
