About this watch

I am delighted to have to offer you a very early 1675 running on the very seldom found cal 1560 and equally special is that this piece is the first version of the GMT Master with pointed crown guards

The case serial number dates this piece to late 1959 /early 1960 which again verifies this exceptional watch as amongst the very first produced .

The original gilt chapter ring dial has aged very well and the bezel is something special having faded to the palest blue and red

For the sake of clarity it has to be said that this piece has not sat in safe for the last 40 years and as such bears the marks of a vintage watch the case has also received some polishing over the years but still retains all its definition and although the dial has been relumed it is a fantastic colour and I assume was done many years ago . This is an honest watch that represents outstanding value and is probably the best value available in the world today .

This fantastic piece is then carried very nicely on a USA stamped original Rolex jubilee bracelet with no 50 end links

As always priced at well below the high street prices and yet this piece has just been fully serviced by UK vintage watch expert Simon Freese and carries a full 18 month guarantee
