About this watch

Please excuse me if I just start with WOW, this a real gem and I hope our images and videos do it justice because as it sits on my wrist at the moment, I can honestly say its hard not to fall in love with it.

The 1675 GMT Master is a classic watch and highly desirable in any format but finding an example like this is very hard, firstly the highly collectible Long E dial, only seen in the Mk1 dial during the initial run of the matt dials, second for many would be an original Pepsi bezel, in this case which has faded, and the colours have softened over the last 50 years to give this watch a unique appearance. The original tritium hour markers have similarly aged over time to give a superb and even coffee colour which finishes the look of what is a beautiful watch.

The watch came to be direct from the estate of a highly decorated US serviceman who went from active service in Korea to the bomb squad and finally retired after serving 21 years including his time as a S.W.A.T team commander for, this was his personal watch during all of this time. I hope the next owner of the watch appreciates the history of the piece as well as its physical beauty.

The automatic cal 1570 was recently serviced and carries our 12 months guarantee and is keeping perfect time.

This Rolex 1675 serial number dates the year of manufacture as 1969

As I have mentioned this is a watch that has seen many challenges in its life but remains a stunning piece. the case shows natural signs of wear, and the original USA oyster bracelet shows similar age and although its original to the watch my personal preference would be to wear this on a good quality distressed leather strap however that s a personal decision.

This piece is in stock and ready for worldwide shipping.
