Rolex Oyster Perpetual date

This vintage, all original and correct reference 1550 Oyster Perpetual Date is heavily gold electroplated with 18ct gold and is almost as new and comes with original box and correct punched papers which are dated 1976

This quite rare example uses a process that covers the entire bracelet and watch case heavily in 18ct gold at the Rolex factory making it almost indistinguishable from a solid gold piece. It is interesting to mention that these Rolex watches have a special and heavy oyster bracelet with solid end-pieces like the ROLEX president bracelet, this bracelet has no signs of stretch and will fit up to a 195mm wrist size.

The original gold dial and matching handset are also pristine.

The 34mm case is in stunning condition and suitable for either ladies or gents
