About this watch

I am delighted to be able to offer you one of the most highly prized Seiko watches available and one that’s in great shape.

Seiko released its first dive watch in 1965, the Reference 6217, which was water-resistant to 150 meters and, like the Submariner and Fifty Fathoms, had a rotating bezel and luminous hour markers, The 6217—also known as 62MAS (for automatic Self-dater)

The watch was only produced from 1965 until 1968 and so is relatively scarce and a first generation piece such as this one in this condition which has just been fully professionally serviced will be hard to equal

The 37 mm stainless steel case is in great shape and the dial is stunning, it’s easy to see why so many collectors love this dive watch and why prices are rising rapidly

As I mentioned professionally serviced and guaranteed for 12 months ,the watch comes fitted to a new old stock tropic rubber dive band
