About this watch

Any Smiths watch is a great find and one to be admired, hopefully time will remember them for more than just the last English watch maker in fact these were manufactured in Cheltenham.

This particular model ref CM4501 and this is the earlier dial signed Smiths Astral, the later dials had only Astral .

Also, worth noting that the early version like this example was fitted with the English hacking movement with calendar feature

This watch left the factory in Cheltenham in 1968 and is shown here in very original condition

A worthy addition to any collection and a very hard to find 1960’s Dive watch
