About this watch

The race to produce the world’s first automatic chronograph is well documented and despite other claims the Zenith El primero is regarded by many to have achieved that accolade in 1969.

Produced in only small numbers during a short production run, the model ref A384 is certainly one of the hardest Il Primero ‘s to find in any condition but an example like this is something special,

The unique case style and layout demonstrates all the style you would expect from a quality piece of this period. The 37mm tonneau case is unpolished and features its original crown.

The cream Panda dial has aged superbly, and the sub dials have just a hint of taking on a dark brown hue, in fact this really is a watch that magnificent in natural sunlight.

The watch is not only cosmetically superb the famous movement performs exactly as it should and carries our full 12 months guarantee

Zenith’s legendary automatic cal. 3019 PHC was famously chosen by Rolex for use in there Daytona models and like the A384 these are highly prized by collectors.

This is a superb example of a highly desirable collectors piece and one I have really enjoyed wearing myself.

Fitted to simple sports brown leather strap finished with an original zenith buckle.
