Omega Cal 286 9 ct Gold Denison case - SOLD

For many decades right until the 1970's many top quality watches were imported in the uk among many other countries as bare movements made by the famous Swiss manufacturers such as Rolex and Omega ,Fortunately for us in the UK we had the case manufacturer Dennison who made some of the best watch case of the era .Dennison were famous for building cases of the highest quality and generally used a heavy weight of gold than others .

Such is the case with this solid gold 34 mm case finished with graceful sweeping down turned lugs 

Inside the case runs the cal 286 manual winding movement which looks just like the day it was first fitted to the gold case.Finished with an ivory dial and decorated with Gold dauphine hands and baton hour markers .All fitted to a quality padded black leather strap
