Jaeger Le coultre were and still are one of the top Swiss watch making houses ,renowned for sophisticated ,elegant watches and this piece from 1949 is exactly one such example.The solid 9 ct gold Denison case measures 33 mm excluding the crown and is finished beautifully with the delicate down turned lugs .
The gold case houses a wonderful cream dial decorated by gold Arabic numeral hour markers and a very early sweeping second hand .
Running on the famous manual winding caliber P450/4C movement
This lovely piece comes fitted with a new quality leather strap and is still kept in the original high quality Cheshire jewelers box Olivant and Botsford
