This gorgeous and totally original 18K gold capped Omega Constellation dates from 1966 and is in exemplary and unrestored condition, it is one of the best examples we have ever seen. The watch is the famous ‘dog leg’ case design, so know because of the design of the lugs, which show the originality of the watch, so many have been polished and restored.
The dial on this piece is the stand out item, stunning silver champagne and totally original and unrestored, finding one in this condition is near impossible to find. This type is also known as a ‘pie pan’ because of the unique pie pan shape of the dial, again a highly desirable feature and in this condition very rare and on this example in this as new condition catches the light incredibly.
The movement is the famous calibre 564, used in a range of Omegas and in this specification chronometer rated and built by hand. This watch was made in 1966 where in the UK this model was £124 at a time when the average weekly wage was £8.
A rare opportunity to buy a very desirable and rapidly appreciating classic complete with Original black omega strap and gold plated buckle
