About this watch

This remarkably preserved Omega Constellation bi-metal gold cap, which dates to circa 1963/4, the Constellation series of watches were Omegas flagship timepieces, boasting their automatic chronometer movements, this variety is caliber 561. the Constellation brand is still in production today and still regarded as Omega flagship dress watch.

This example is special for a number of reasons, it is never restored and never polished, the movement is in pristine condition showing no signs of wear and this reflects in the case and dial and in fact the whole watch. There are some light age related marks to the dial and some age related wear marks to the case but overall it is stunning.

the Gold capped case measures 33.8 mm and features the very popular "broken" lugs and the watch still has the original crown and the glass shows the Omega symbol . Good unmolested vintage constellations are becoming increasingly hard to find and gold cap examples such as this one with an exposed stainless steel middle case are rarer than most.

This lovely watch is fitted to a new high quality hand made Italian leather strap
