About this watch
It may seem odd today to call something with a 35 mm case Jumbo but please remember in the mid 1940's when this watch was made the norm was still 30 to 33 mm for a gents dress watch.
Both the movement and the case were manufactured in Switzerland towards the end of the war and this exquisite piece in solid rose gold was a break from austerity everything about this watch is class from the size to the elegant curved downturned lugs .
Great to see a nice early sweeping center second movement as well ,again most pieces of this era would have the sub second dial
This piece is set off by a stunning tapered strap
