About this watch

This 35mm stainless steel case houses the quality Cal 1020 high beat  17 Jewell movement numbered 42881280 which dates this piece to c1979 definitely not the oldest piece I have but a lovely watch nonetheless .

This calibre series of movements is regarded as one of the most successful Omega produced. Running at 28,800v/h they were able to compete with the early quartz movements for accuracy

The very unusual pin stripe dial which features both day and date apertures is fitted onto an original Omega leather strap with Omega buckle this lovely original watch represents great value.
